I have been writing regularly for Dame Stephanie Shirley CH for over two years now.

As a child refugee, IT entrepreneur and now venture philanthropist, in her lifetime Dame Stephanie has experienced unimaginable trauma and enviable success. When I was originally asked to write the copy for her website, the challenge was deciding what to leave out, when she has so much of value to share.

I set to work reading Dame Stephanie’s memoir, Let it Go, and her more recent publication, So to Speak, a collection of speeches from over the decades, including the manuscript for her TED Talk which has now been viewed on YouTube over 2 million times. I pulled out the key messages and created a plan for the website messaging that highlighted Dame Stephanie’s profile as an experienced and fascinating speaker, as well as promoting her books and venture philanthropy projects.

The finished website showcases the exceptional calibre of Dame Stephanie’s work and reflects all the warmth and vibrancy of the woman herself.
