Shaping innovative outdoor spaces.

Words from the website

This lavish garden is influenced by early Turkish gardens of the 10th century. It features traditional Islamic elements including strong geometric architecture, a pavilion to provide shade, and cooling fountains and rills. A high wall containing a window grille surrounds the garden, providing privacy and enclosure while representing the nature of paradise as a place that is secret and hidden away.

Nilufer Danis is a landscape architect and garden designer who has scooped up armfuls of awards for her innovative work, including three Gold Medals at RHS Hampton Court.

She runs a busy practice working on gardens, parks and public spaces in the UK and internationally, and, as is often the way, while her business has been thriving, her brand and website had got left behind.

Designer Neo Khama was already working on Nilufer’s visual identity when I joined their team to help establish a voice for the brand and get to grips with the volume of content needed for the new website.

Words from the website

Nilufer’s landscapes and gardens are characterised by strong structural elements that bring definition and poise. Lines are sleek and minimalistic with planting in a sophisticated palette of colours and textures.

I wasn’t aware at first that Clare was going to be the one to design the website’s structure, brain and language. Her successful content strategy and powerful words have made my life and my web designer’s life much easier and has added a different dimension to the website. Our new website has character, style, intelligence and soul. It was a great experience working with Clare.
